A simple, transparent analytics policy.

Toronto Permit Index uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people use the site. Google Analytics may collect information such as page views, device and browser details, approximate location, and referring websites. We use these insights to improve the permit lookup and dashboard.

Public permit information

Permit records displayed here come from the City of Toronto Open Data portal. Searching the index does not require an account, and you should not submit private or confidential information through the search box.

Google Analytics

Analytics data is processed by Google under its service terms. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services on the Google partner-sites privacy page. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or a compatible browser privacy feature.
